Academic Institutions
Over the years, CSDI has generously supported various institutions based in Los Angeles, across the United States, and internationally. CSDI has been involved with institutions like the University of Southern California, the University of California Los Angeles, the Dr. Albert Schweitzer Leadership Academy, and multiple projects at Johns Hopkins University, including funding scholars’ residences through the Universities’ International Student House, Public Health program, and serving as a major benefactor of the School of Advanced International Studies.
Davidson College
In 2024, CSDI participated in the largest donation in Davidson College’s history, in support of the building of a new library and in support of the expansion of academic resources for the college, including access to scholarship produced by underrepresented groups and that engage with diversified thought.
Johns Hopkins University
CSDI has long supported JHU’s School of Advanced International Studies philanthropically to fund CCSDD programming, fellowship funds, and student scholarship. CSDI also makes annual contributions to the funding of scholars’ residents at the International Student House of Washington, DC.
